Creating the Crossroads: 100 Years of Civil Construction in Indiana

As Indiana Constructors, Inc. (ICI) celebrates its Centennial, the association has published a new commemorative book. “Creating the Crossroads: 100 Years of Civil Construction in Indiana,” by Sara A. Marshall offers an insider’s look at Hoosier roads and road builders.

Marshall recounts the association’s journey and drops it into the narrative along the way. By sharing the touch points in which ICI helped to champion industry, shape policy and build Indiana’s system of highways, roads and bridges, she shows the association’s vital role in building the Crossroads of America.

ICI is distributing copies to its members throughout 2024. You can purchase a copy through the Indiana Historical Society Press.
